Mary Mary…..How does your garden grow?

By doing nothing aparently .  On Saturday in a pile of soil we dug out from our barn floor 2 months ago. We  found these lettuce growing . We did not plant them so must be wind power. However, last year I spent a lot of time and effort  trying to grow lettuce five times.Not one lettuce survived .  Now we have these beauties with no effort they are the light green ones in the pic.
